Al enige jaren is Sportfacilities in de UK actief met haar titel SoccerCoachingInternational. In 2008 ontstond het plan met een nieuwe titel deze markt te betreden. Inmiddels is dat gerealiseerd: GUBOG heeft het levenslicht gezien en de titel is ondergebracht in de gelijknamige LtD.


Give Us Back Our Game is a UK-based, international children’s sports organisation.

We are advocates for children and their right to play and have access to age-appropriate, positive sport. These rights are guaranteed by the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (David, 2005) and have been ratified by 192 countries.

Give Us Back Our Game (GUBOG) is also a successful and proven method for delivering children’s sports and activities. The GUBOG Approach is a practical 10 – point guide which helps practitioners ensure that children are always engaged, always having fun and always learning new skills.

Through our campaigns, events, workshops, magazine and website, we influence policy and help others see how developmental and beneficial children’s sport truly can be….and how to organise and deliver programmes which place the rights of the child over the expectations or demands of adults. GUBOG is fun!

Give Us Back Our Game began as an emergent grassroots football campaign in the UK in 2006 but has since broadened its scope to include all sports….such is the breadth and severity of issues facing children across the sporting spectrum.
